Flos Miss K Table Lamp

Miss K glows with a diffused light.

There is always more than meets the eye with a Philippe Starck creation, known for his inventive use of materials to evolve our collective perception of the status quo. Here, he blends a traditional outer diffuser with a transparent PMMA structure to surprise us with a lamp that is innovative as well as timeless. With Miss K, the designer invites us to explore the inner workings of the lamp, seeming to suggest that the items we rely on every day have more power within than we seem to realize.

When unlit, its transparent outer diffuser rests with a sleek metallic tint. When the table lamp is lit, the transparency of the diffuser is evident and it appears as if you’re looking at an x-ray of a lamp.

Details

Table lamp with an injection-moulded PMMA frame, opal, injection-moulded polycarbonate internal diffuser, transparent polycarbonate outer diffuser internally finished with a high vacuum aluminization process. Soft version comes with an outer diffuser in fabric.

Dimmer for 0-100% luminosity adjustment, transparent polarized cord.

Lamp (bulb) – 1 x 72W BT-15 ECO Halogen is Included.
