Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni in 2006, the Ray floor lamp updates a classic shape to give it a decidedly contemporary edge.

Offering a fresh perspective on an iconic shape, Dordoni designed his modern drum diffuser to resemble a lighthouse. “The stand that supports the light source is an elementary structure,” he says. “It is a part lighthouse, part power pylon.”
